Janet Jackson participó en el tributo de MTV, en honor a su fallecido hermano Michael Jackson. Brindó un excelente espectáculo final, cantando y bailando con un equipo de bailarines "Scream", la canción que juntos interpretaron a dúo en la década del 90 (Scream, fue el primer single del álbum History de Michael Jackson).
Rescatamos este vídeo, en el cual la cantante comparte sus impresiones sobre el homenaje que presentó en los MTV Music Awards 2009. Un periodista pregunta a Janet sobre qué pasaba por su mente, en el elevador, justo antes de ingresar al escenario. Ella dice: "Lo extrañé, estaba ahí haciendo esto para él, y sólo decía te amo y gracias. Gracias por ser mi hermano, gracias por darnos el talento que nos diste. Darnos el amor que nos diste, y todo lo que diste. Sé que él estaba mirando. Sé que él nos miraba desde arriba y espero que lo haya disfrutado".

She provided an excellent final show, singing and dancing with a team of dancers "Scream", the song they performed as a duet in the 90's (Scream, was the first single from the History album of Michael Jackson).
We rescued this video, in which the singer shares his views on the tribute that appeared at the MTV Music Awards 2009. A reporter asked Janet about what was on her mind, in the elevator, just before entering to the stage. She says, "Missing him, and I was doing this for him, and just to said I love you and thank you. Thanks you for being my brother, thank you for giving us the talents that you giving us. Giving us the love that you giving us, you gave everything. I know he was watching. I know he was looking down and I hope he enjoyed, I hope so".

Madonna realizó un emotivo discurso durante la entrega de premios MTV Music Awards 2009, dedicado a Michael Jackson. Ella inauguró el homenaje que MTV organizó para el Rey del Pop.
En palabras breves, pero intensas, la cantante relató a los presentes su relación de amistad con MJ, su visión respecto a su trayectoria y su opinión frente a su desenlace. Madonna sentenció que todos le abandonamos, cuando él atravesó su momento más duro. Su inocencia fue cuestionada y los medios no cesaron de acosarlo, destruyendo su imagen de persona y masificando una imagen distorsionada de sí mismo. Más allá del extraordinario artista que Michael Jackson fue, todos parecen haberse olvidado que también era un ser humano.

His innocence was questioned and the media did not stop harassing him, destroying his person's image and promoting an image distorted of his self. Beyond the extraordinary artist that Michael Jackson was, they all seem to have forgotten that he also was a human being.
